DECEMBER 27-29, 2015

To celebrate our 20th Anniversary of Hockey for Hospice, this year's tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever before. We are adding a Tykes Division and are anticipating a record number of teams and players.

Registration is only open until December 7th, 2015 at 12:00 noon, so act now to secure your spot in the largest minor league hockey tournament in this region.

The Hospice is Hiring!

The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County Inc. is recruiting to the position of:
Coordinator, Education Center in the Centre of Excellence
(Full Time)

The Coordinator for the Education Center, as part of The Center of Excellence Team, is responsible for all aspects of education planning, delivery and evaluation, relating to service delivery in all departments within the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County; and for collaboratively working with our community partners to identify opportunities and deliver education programs within Windsor and Essex. This position is also responsible for collaborating and liaising with The Windsor Essex County Compassionate Community initiative supporting education and training needs of volunteers and neighborhoods.

Qualifications and related experience include:
• Masters degree in Business or Health Administration, Health Services or Social Sciences from a recognized university;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, advocacy training and awareness of the current health system relating to Hospice care;
• Strong mentoring skills;
• Project Management Skill Set;
• Experience in community development
• Experience in change management
• Ability to move an organization from its vision to a reality;
• Excellent oral, written skills;
• Excellent presentation skills;
• Computer proficiency.
