It’s that time of year once again, and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off our 22nd Annual Face to Face Campaign!
Over the last 21 years, The Hospice Face to Face Campaign has raised over 1.6 million dollars in support for the Fairley Family Transportation Program, which provides rides for Hospice patients and families across our community.
In 2022, we added a new, impactful addition to the program – The G.E.N.I.E. Program (Granting Exceptional N’ Impactful Experiences). This program offers the opportunity for patients receiving Hospice care, whether in our Hospice Residences, or in their own home, to request special trips or outings. Thanks to our partners at the County of Essex and Essex-Windsor EMS, we are able to provide safe and accessible rides to patients who want to attend one last family reunion, or spend a few hours at a local park, or even visit their family home one last time – creating a memorable experience for them and their loved ones.
This year, we are honoured to dedicate the 2024 Face to Face campaign in memory of one of our most dedicated and passionate Hospice Ambassadors, Dr. Jamie Henderson. For many years, Jamie has been one of the Honourary Co-Chairs of our Face to Face Campaign, but his support of our Hospice went far beyond this event, truly personifying the compassion, kindness, and gratitude for which our Hospice is known. We are proud to celebrate his life, his dedication, and his contributions to our Hospice and our community. We are also very grateful to Dr. Gary Ing, who will be returning as our Honourary Chair once again this year.
Every dollar donated to the Face to Face campaign goes directly towards supporting Hospice patients and their families in our community – but we can’t do it without you!
