June Education Session

Echoes of Love:  How Legacy Work Honours Connection and Creates Meaning

“Being remembered” is a deeply human need that transcends, age, background, and diagnosis.  Legacy work at end-of-life is personally unique and creates lasting memories and connections with loved ones.  We will explore the healing power of legacy work, not only for patients and families, but for palliative care workers and volunteers as well.  Strategies for implementing legacy work will be shared including how to sensitively introduce ideas, tailor them to different abilities and preference, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to bring them to life.
