Alzheimer’s Disease: Understanding the Connection Between the Brain and Behaviour

It is estimated that over 600,000 people in Canada live with dementia of which Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form. To understand Alzheimer’s disease, it is important to know the connection between the brain and behaviours. It is with this understanding that we as caregivers are better able to support the person living with dementia and have the capacity to provide quality, memorable care at end of life.
