Exploring Intellectual and Developmental Disability Palliative Care:  Enabling Good Practice

This presentation will provide an overview of intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) and the benefits of a palliative care approach for people living with an IDD. It will also explore IDD specific palliative care tools and the interprofessional team approach that help improve access to palliative care and outcomes.

 

Date: Wednesday, April 24, 2024

Format: Webinar – Participants can attend via Zoom either individually or as part of a viewing group hosted at either the Erie Shores or Windsor Campus. The Zoom link will be provided upon registration.

Time: Doors open and a light meal is provided at 5:00 pm for the on‐site viewing groups
