WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. The idea caught on, and has grown around the world, inspiring hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a stranger, or giving to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
On this GivingTuesday, we’re asking you to Give Your Night and provide one night of care and comfort for a patient and their family at our Hospice. One night of care in our Hospice Residence costs $150 – each donation makes a difference, giving peace of mind to those entering our Hospice Residence that all costs will be covered, and they can focus on what is most important.
