DESCRIPTION:Onsite Only at the Erie Shores Welcome Centre.\nThe purpose of the Good Grief Café is to provide an opportunity for participants to listen and share with one another about their experiences and challenges while grieving a loved one. They will be held once a month in a casual setting where coffee\, tea\, and snacks will be provided\, under the facilitation of the Spiritual Care Coordinator. \n  \nCriteria: This group is open to adults (18 and over) who have lost a significant other and were involved in palliative or Hospice care within the last year\, either in the community or at the Hospice Residence \nDates: September 15\, October 20\, November 17\, December 15 \nTime: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM \nLocation: Hospice\, Erie Shores Campus – Welcome Centre 197 Talbot St. W.\, Leamington ON \nRegistration: Please call (519) 974-7100 to register through Intake.

DESCRIPTION:An 8-week support group for adults who are struggling after experiencing the death of a loved one. Learn to express and manage emotions\, memories\, and grief to live in a positive way. As well\, learn to explore and understand grief including how to transition to life without their loved one. This group gives individuals a safe space to meet and share stories with others who have experienced loss. \n  \nCriteria: Individuals who have experienced a loss within the last year\, with a connection to Hospice services \nDates: 8-Week Session\, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM every Friday starting September 22nd until November 24th \nLocation: In Person at the Erie Shores Campus – Welcome Centre \nRegistration: This is a closed group\, not drop-in. To register\, please call (519) 251-2590 (group is limited to 10 participants) \n  \nPLEASE NOTE: Participants should plan on attending all 8 sessions\, as each week builds on information and sharing from the previous week.
