24rd Annual Hockey for Hospice Tournament

December 27-29, 2019

OMHA Divisions: IP, Tyke and Novice Jamboree, Atom, PeeWee, Bantam (no checking)
OWHA Divisions: Atom, PeeWee, Bantam (no checking)
$2000 Registration Fee + Player Pledges

Team Awards

  • Teams receive 1/2 point for every $250 in pledges turned in by their players before their first game. There is a maximum of 5 points per team that can be received for pledges. Divisional standings are based on points won playing hockey plus points received for pledges. It is readily apparent that larger amounts of pledges will increase each team's chances in the final standing in their division after the hockey has been completed. Additionally, when teams are tied for the playoffs and after head to head competition results, the amounts of team pledges is the second tie breaker.
  • Team pledges of $5,000 or more earn entry into our Hockey for Hospice Hall of Fame. This includes:
  1. Team picture permanently displayed on our website.
  2. Team picture displayed annually at all future tournaments.
  3. Team name engraved on permanent trophy displayed at Amherstburg arena.
