DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this group is to provide the components of a grief support group in a culinary setting.  Participants will learn a set of skills that promote healthy grieving techniques for discovering meaning and purpose in coping with a new daily reality. The workshops include help with meal planning and preparation\, grocery shopping\, eating alone\, and many other areas that can trigger grief. DESCRIPTION:Moral Distress: Why Am I Feeling This Way?\nWe have all faced impactful moments in healthcare that linger in our memories\, leaving us drained\, overwhelmed\, and powerless.  If these emotions go unaddressed\, they can lead to moral distress and injury\, particularly in challenging settings like end-of-life care.  Acknowledging the signs\, causes\, and limitations linked to moral distress is the initial stride toward delivering exceptional care.  In addition to recognizing its impact\, we must also develop strategies and practices to address moral distress and foster resilience among those providing hospice palliative care. \n  \nDate: Wednesday\, February 28\, 2024 \nFormat: Webinar – Participants can attend via Zoom either individually or as part of a viewing group hosted at both the Erie Shores and Windsor Campuses.
