SUMMARY:W - Seasons of Grief: Psychoeducational Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Grief has many seasons. Some days feel heavy\, others a little lighter\, and sometimes it can feel like no one else could possibly understand. You don’t have to go through it alone. \nSeasons of Grief is a monthly group where we gather for 1.5 hours to talk\, learn\, and support one another. Together\, we’ll explore: \n\nthe stages and shapes grief can take\nthe different ways loss shows up in our lives\ncommon triggers and how to cope when they arise\n\nThis group isn’t about “fixing” grief — it’s about finding comfort\, understanding\, and connection in a safe space. Our hope is that you leave feeling seen\, supported\, and a little less alone in your journey. All are welcome\, wherever you are in your season of grief. \n  \nDate(s): Sept. 10 | Oct. 8 | Nov. 12 | Dec. 10 \nTime: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM \nLocation: Hospice Windsor\, Administration Building \nMaximum Participants: 15 \n  \nFor more information or to RSVP\, please call (519) 974-7100.

SUMMARY:Hospice Face to Face Campaign
DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO DONATE ONLINE\n\n  \nABOUT FACE TO FACE\nIt’s that time of year once again\, and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off our 23rd Annual Face to Face Campaign! \nOver the last 22 years\, The Hospice Face to Face Campaign has raised over 1.7 million dollars in support for the Fairley Family Transportation Program\, which provides rides for Hospice patients and families across our community. \nIn 2022\, we added a new\, impactful addition to the program – The G.E.N.I.E. Program (Granting Exceptional N’ Impactful Experiences). This program offers the opportunity for patients receiving Hospice care\, whether in our Hospice Residences\, or in their own home\, to request special trips or outings. Thanks to our partners at the County of Essex and Essex-Windsor EMS\, we are able to provide safe and accessible rides to patients who want to attend one last family reunion\, or spend a few hours at a local park\, or even visit their family home one last time – creating a memorable experience for them and their loved ones. \nEvery dollar donated to the Face to Face campaign goes directly towards supporting Hospice patients and their families in our community – but we can’t do it without you! \n  \nHow can you help support these memorable moments and much-needed rides? \n\nCollect pledges from friends and family as a Face to Face Canvasser; Click here to download the 2025 Pledge Form\nMake a personal donation online\, through the mail\, or in support of a Face to Face Canvasser\nSpread the word about Face to Face!\n\n  \nCLICK HERE TO DONATE ONLINE\n  \nThank you to our Honourary Chair of the Face to Face Campaign\, and our Chair of the Hospice Board of Directors\, Dr. Gary Ing for his continued commitment to our Hospice and thank you to our long-time friend and our Hospice Champion\, John Fairley\, without you\, none of this would be possible.
