The workshops include help with meal planning and preparation\, grocery shopping\, eating alone\, and many other areas that can trigger grief. SUMMARY:ES - Good Grief Café: Psychoeducational Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Onsite Only at the Erie Shores Welcome Centre.\nThe purpose of the Good Grief Café is to provide an opportunity for participants to listen and share with one another about their experiences and challenges while grieving a loved one. They will be held once a month in a casual setting where coffee\, tea\, and snacks will be provided\, under the facilitation of the Spiritual Care Coordinator. \n  \nCriteria: This group is open to adults (18 and over) who have lost a significant other and were involved in palliative or Hospice care within the last year\, either in the community or at the Hospice Residence \nDates: Jan. 17 | Feb. 21 | Mar. 21 | Apr. 25 | May 16 | June 20 | July 18 | Aug. 15 | Sept. 19 | Oct. 17 | Nov. 21 | Dec. 19 \nTime: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM \nLocation: Hospice\, Erie Shores Campus – Welcome Centre \nMaximum Participants: 10-12 participants; participants can join for any or all sessions \n  \nFor more information or to register\, please call (519) 974-7100.
