
Living with Grief

This group provides a safe, supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere for those who have lost a loved one to share their struggles with others who have experienced a similar loss. Group is intended as a preventive intervention to reduce the development of complicated grief after the death of a significant other through the power of Connection, Education, Encouragement and Empowerment.
Criteria: Friends and family (18yrs or older) who have had a significant other die while in Hospice care (both within the community or at the HRH) as well as community members of Assumption Cares (Compassionate Care Community). *This is offered in partnership with Assumption Cares (part of the Compassionate Care Community programming).
Date(s): Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM, Twice Monthly
Location: Onsite Only at the Community Room provided by Assumption Cares located at 711 McEwan Ave.
