Beyond the Plate: Learning to Cook for One
The purpose of this group is to provide the components of a grief support group in a culinary setting. Participants will learn a set of skills that promote healthy grieving techniques for discovering meaning and purpose in coping with a new daily reality. The workshops include help with meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, eating alone, and many other areas that can trigger grief. This series will run 3 times per year (Fall, Winter, Spring).
Criteria: Participants who have experienced a death within the last year.
Date(s): Fridays, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Weekly for the month of September
Location: Onsite Only at the Windsor Campus
