Job Title:            Permanent Part time Nurse Educator

Reports to:         Palliative Medicine Program Manager

Hours:                 Minimum of 2 days per week up to 5 days per week and on call rotation as assigned

 

Job Summary: 

The nurse educator works as part of a multi-disciplinary supportive care team providing education and pain and symptom management consultation for patients, their caregivers and the associated community agencies. The philosophy of care is a holistic approach that encompasses the physical, emotional, mental, social, practical and spiritual needs of the individual. Services are provided in home, hospital and other locations as requested.

Job Title:             Receptionist

Reports to:          Director of Finance and HR

Job Type:            6-month Contract PART TIME  22.5 hours weekly with flexibility for additional hours if required

 

 

Duties and Requirements:

 

Provide prompt and efficient response to incoming telephone calls.  Welcome people to the agency upon their arrival and direct them as required. Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail, order supplies, ensure faxes are distributed in a timely manner.  Ensure that visitors sign in. Unlock doors in the morning and/or Lock entrance doors at 5PM. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Secondary school diploma/Business school.
  2. At least one year experience preferred.
  3. Excellent knowledge and skill of telephone protocol.
  4. Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
  5. Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
  6. Bilingual French/English preferred.
