The tournament has two important goals; namely:

  1. To raise funds to assist Hospice of Windsor and Essex County as they provide their services, free of charge, throughout Essex County.
  2. To reward fundraising by providing a competitive, friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for all of the players and families involved.

NOTE:   We do not encourage “last minute” registration, as player collected pledges are most important to provide the donations to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.

Team entry registration is $150 per team. All registration must be completed online and paid by credit card. Registration closes December 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. EST.

Each Home Centre ensures no two teams within any of their divisions will have a conflict of uniform colour; e.g. home team and visitor team colours are both RED. However tournaments bring together many home centres and care must be taken to ensure uniform colour conflicts do not arise. The Tournament Committee makes every effort to avoid conflicts during round robin play when scheduling teams. However playoff games cannot be altered to avoid this. It is the responsibility of assigned home team to alter their uniform colours whenever the Tournament Committee has deemed a colour conflict to exist.

Each arena will have a registration desk to take pledges prior to each team’s first game. See “Incentives and Awards” that may be earned by teams and individuals, as well as, additional requirements.

Other than registration and pledges, there are no other fees or fundraising activities during the game. There is no charge for admission for families, friends and sponsors.

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three tournament games.

Every team will receive a meal of pizza and pop after one of their games during the tournament.

Teams in every division may qualify for playoffs. There are play-offs in every level of competition whereby teams in every division may qualify for playoffs, with possible A, B, C and D levels in a division. These levels to be determined based on the number of teams registered at each level.

Trophies are awarded after the championship game in each of the levels to the winners, as well as the other finalists.

After all teams have been registered and verified, the schedule and playoff structure will be posted on this website by mid December.
